The only problem I’m going to have with my Illus class is that I have to do quite a few thumbnail sketches. All different, of course! I’m not the type who sits around and plans my drawings, I go with my first instinct and just do it. That’s why I need some more ideas for that quote.
I want to completely redo Bad Candy. Tear down everything and start over. Simplify again. I love what Josh Lesnick did to Wendy – something simple and nice looking.
Things I want to change:
A) Links. I hate my links page. I hate keeping a links page. It’s too big and out of control. I’m going to strip the whole thing and leave only friends sites and artists I admire. If I’ve link exchanged with someone, and they want to keep that exchange, all they have to do is tell me. I feel like I’ve got too many sites on my list that are just sitting there.
B) Completely new layout. Too often I redesign just the front page, or I just change a few things about the subpages to make them new. I want something completely updated. I’m tired of the Art Index page, it’s looked like that for ages now.
C) Go back to something friendly looking like this old design “And I’m Spent”:
NO MORE BLUE. I’m tired of blue right now.
D) And, like I said, simplify in general. Too much stuff is there right now. All out of order.
Any more suggestions? I’m welcome to them.
