Yesterday was weird. I had the day off, but I since I was house-sitting/watching my cousin/cat-sitting, I was over at my aunt’s house that night, and had to get up early to take my cousin to school. After dropping him off I came home and fell asleep on the couch. I knew my mom had the week off, she’s on spring break this week. It wasn’t until later on I found out dad had the day off too … I take that back, the week off. So it was weird, it was like a saturday.
Anyway, I ended up with no class today, so I actually helped my parents clean the attic. I found 4 incredible finds during it:
#1 – Two dead mice. Indy promptly picked one up in her mouth causing us all to freak out. I picked up my Tick figure I’d found, and he said, “Oh, gross!” Haha!
#2 – A devil’s tail. It was part of one of mom’s old Halloween costumes. I put it on the back belt loop of my shorts and have been wearing it since.
#3 – A large, khaki trenchcoat. Yep, I found a Milly coat š Just gotta add some stuff. And mom was going to throw it out!
#4 – A black dress jacket once belonging to my father. I found an Utena jacket to work around š
So it was very productive indeed! The Milly coat especially, I was expecting to have to make it, but it’s almost perfect. I also found the brown pants I used with my Quistis costume, and, despite the fact they’re falling apart, I’m going to wear them with it to take new pictures. I also found the original shirt I used with the costume that became Britan’s outfit! Meaning I can throw that outfit back together and take pictures.
