It’s this clock my grandparents gave to them, like, years ago. And they never put batteries in it. Then, just the other day, they decided to. The first time that thing chimed it scared me to death. It still freaks me out. I think it’s the phone or the doorbell or something first, then I realise it’s that stupid clock.
