dood people are wacky for a harry potter tie.
So yesterday Cat and I had agreed to meet at applebee’s to eat lunch before the movie. She called me earlier to tell me she might be late, she had to get her oil changed (her car’s, not her own). I ended up getting there fifteen minutes EARLY ’cause traffic was practically nonexistant for once. So I sat there in the parking lot where I could see all the cars that came in from 11:45 to 12:20 (we were supposed to meet at 12). I didn’t have my phone to call her, so I finally left, went to my dad’s office 5 minutes away and got his cell phone so I could call her. I was nearly back to Applebee’s when she finally answered her phone and asked me where I was. I said on my way back to applebee’s. She said, “I’ve been waiting in here for 30 minutes!” I was like, “Well i’ve been waiting OUTSIDE for 30 minutes!! I didn’t see your car.” So I got back to Applebee’s, went inside and called her again, telling her to wave or something so I could see her. I don’t see her anywhere and she’s saying she doesn’t see me. I walk around the restaurant, and finally, she asks, “which applebee’s are you at?”
Yes, we were at different applebee’s. I was the one right next to the theater, she was at the one near her school. D’oh!
So by that point we just left and went to the theater and I had a fruit and cheese tray.
Spirited Away was really cool. I don’t have much else to say about it except that I really liked it. It was really beautiful and wild and it was all like a dream.
Cath is going to go see Rocky Horror. She’s never seen it before. This is going to be fun!! š
But, the only way I could get her to agree was to go to the Homecoming dance before hand with her and Melissa. I am going to wear my Padme dress, I don’t care if it’s not exactly right for it, but it’ll be fun. Cath is making a fairy dress. Afterwards I’ll change into Hermione or something for Rocky horror.
