I have 2 modes:
1. DragonCon mode
2. DisneyWorld mode
I am one or the other at any given point. Obviously before DragonCon I’m in DragonCon mode. And right before our Disney trip (like now) I’m in Disney mode. Whichever one I’m in, it’s all I can think about it and I know people get tired of hearing me talk about it.
Yesterday my mom called me to tell me she’d spent a half hour chatting with Justin Timberlake’s mom at the beauty salon. My main take-away from the conversation was that I managed to NOT mention Disney at all. I was very proud of myself.
I juggled some stuff around and we bought our plane tickets recently. Having to fly out of Nashville because even with Southwest here now, it was still double the price of Nashville flights and Nashville had direct flights.
Of course my favourite thing to do at Disney World is eat, so most of what I’ve been dealing with and juggling is our dining reservations and how best to use our Dining Plan credits. Here’s where we are eating…
1. Biergarten:
This is a new one! This is one my parents picked when I made them a list of possibilities, and I’m really excited about it. I’ve only had German food once in my life (like, I mean, at a specific German restaurant), so I’m excited to try it again, and I love it’s a buffet so I can try a little of everything.
2. Le Cellier
Our second time back. I hope it’s as good as last time because we’ve really talked it up to my parents.
3. 1900 Park Fare Breakfast
I’ve never had a breakfast buffet at Disney! And I’m excited about the characters who are here for breakfast – and I’ve never been in the Grand Floridian, so that’s a bonus, too.
4. Liberty Tree Tavern
Another new one! I really wanted to try this place for dinner, and we moved stuff around so we could.
5. Tutto Italia
Our 3rd time here. One of our favourite’s, Chase especially loves it.
6. Akershus Dinner Buffet
Another new one! Ridiculously excited for this.
7. Rose & Crown
Can’t even say how many times we’ve been to Rose & Crown… every trip, it’s our tradition. We’ve got it scheduled for our last night and hopefully we can get fireworks viewing seating.
8. Kona Cafe
Breakfast on our last full day there. Pancakes are ruined for me everywhere else because I always wine it’s they’re not Kona pancakes.
YAY! Excite. I guess since I didn’t talk to my mom about it yesterday I had to make a blog post today to get it out of my system…….
