GMX 2012 Recap

GMX was a lot of fun this year! We took Kevin, who wore his Harry Potter and Doctor Who costumes, and I took Wasp, Ms Marvel, Donna Noble, Marie Antoinette, and Anne Boleyn. We mostly hung out, shopped, Kevin played video games and Chase took photos. It was a nice lowkey weekend 🙂

Kevin’s Harry Potter I brought just because he hasn’t had a chance to wear it since the last movie… but I couldn’t find his wig. We ended up swinging by a costume shop and buying a cheap Beatle wig… it was seriously bad LOL
But, we had some fun with it LOL

Kev’s 11th Doctor has been piece-mealed together over the past few years – he wore a version of it at GMX last year. This year we added a wig and a jacket. None of it is even close to accurate but he loves wearing it. Unfortunately we couldn’t find his sonic screwdriver ANYWHERE… so he had to go without 🙁 (what’s with me and losing stuff?)

I got to wear Wasp with the new wings! Unfortunately it was FREEZING this past weekend and I didn’t stay in it long because I was so cold.

K-9 came along with a new, louder sound system.

I really loved the Apparation Abolishers expo. Kevin did too, it was his favourite place to go besides the video game room!
