Romana + house work

The house is still a disaster thanks to us painting the laundry room, but it’s getting there.
I forgot to take a before-photo of the laundry room before we took everything out, and before we stacked the washer and dryer. But here it is pre-painting:

Only room in the house we’ve never done anything to – that floor tile is what was originally in our kitchen. The room is tiny, and the way the washer door opens blocks off the entire length of the room, so I had to bend and just kinda throw things in the dryer. Missed half the time. With them stacked now I can just go up and down, and we’re going to put shelves up where the washer originally sat and have MUCH more storage space. Also I’ll be able to reach the shelves. The one shelf in there before was so high I could just barely touch it.
Anyway, done painting the walls:

The colour is just leftover from when we painted our bedroom last year. Tonight, hopefully, we can get the trim painted and get everything hooked back up, and get the shelving up.

I made a bit of progress on Romana last night. Only spent about 15 minutes on it, but got the skirt pieces cut out and pleated, and pinned in place.

Got a little more work done - skirt pieces cut out and pleated.Just need to sew them to the top pieces, sew up the side and hem it - then find the rest of the pieces I need to buy :)Kelldar.com | My Facebook Page | Tumblr | Instagram

Just need to sew them to the top, sew up the sides, and hem it and it’s done.
Also – yay for not having to buy fabric! I use up all the last bit of my extra Lady Blackhawk fabric šŸ™‚
