So here’s some more on the Antoinette wig saga.
In my last update post, I posted a pic of it and said I wasn’t happy, ripped it all apart and cut down the foam insert. Honestly, besides feeling it was a tad taller than I wanted, I’d also gotten the wig cap too small. It was hard to fit on my head and I didn’t want to have to wrestle with it. Anyway, here’s the new insert:
(it’s the white thing in the center there, I used black thread on the right side so you can kinda see it.)
And then, put the hair back on…
(Ignore creepy Ms Kim, she’s weird.)
It’s a little bit rounder and a little shorter. I think once I put the outside layer of hair and ringlets on I’ll be happy with it.
Last night I picked up some got2b glued freeze spray. I’ve seen people talk about using it on wigs before but I figured it couldn’t be much different than regular super hairspray. ho boy. I wish I’d gotten some of this stuff YEARS ago. It’s amazing. That wig is practically a helmet now, it’s not going anywhere. So I’m especially happy with that!
