Today at work I was sleepy and told Kevin to tell me some stories to keep me awake. He kept stalling and saying he “couldn’t remember” so I just kept pushing him and telling him to make it up if he didn’t remember. This is what he came up with.
Kevin’s “The Little Mermaid”:
There was a little mermaid named Ariel whose father was King Triton the king of the sea. She had a bunch of sisters and was good at singing and liked to look at the human world. Her dad didn’t like her looking at the human world, no reason, just didn’t like it. She fell in love with a human prince named Eric. So after crying she went to Robert the Wizard, who danced around her and turned her human. She went to the human world, was kidnapped by pirates and eaten for their lunch. The end.
Kevin’s “Beauty and the Beast”:
There was a Beast named Roberts. He wasn’t always a Beast, he was turned that way by Ursula the Sea Witch. She didn’t have a reason, she just did it because she’s evil. So in this French town there’s a girl named Belle who is a dancer and likes to read. She lives with her dad Maurice who is an inventor. He takes his invention to a fair but gets lost in the forest, but finds a castle. Maurice goes into the castle and meets Roberts the Beast. They talk, and then fall in love and get married. The end.
