Eras Tour Indy night one was ✨magical ✨

The concert was amazing, @lindenash ‘s friendship bracelet jacket and @chasingphotography ‘s jersey turned out so cute and it was so fun to get to wear my lavender haze costume from dragoncon to the actual concert! (Tho, I did switch to flats for standing for 3.5 hours). It was so surreal to actually see the show in person! I got to sing exile with Taylor Swift and 69,000 friends!! It was a once in a lifetime experience and I’m so, so grateful we were able to go.

I often get asked “hey where’d you get X for that costume?” so I decided to start a new series where I break down where all of my materials and pieces came from. Starting off with the one I get the most frequent questions about, my most recent Padme lake gown from 2019.

(I really want to do this with a super old costume, like my fabric came from Hancock fabrics, my grandma gave me that piece, the wig was from Cosworx, the armor was a garbage can… 😹)

I felt like these 3 (Mara Jade, Shin Hati, and Taylor Swift) needed photos first because I did a really bad job at taking photos of them at dragoncon. I should have photos back in a couple of days! I can’t wait to get the rest of my Boushh costume fixed up to do a Photoshoot with this! It’s the Princess Leia costume I’ve worn least because I sold my original helmet only a year or so after finishing it!

Also looking forward to setting up a cool little display around this - been wanting to install some shelving in a spot in our living room so this is a good kick in the pants to do that.

Todays theme for #cosplayover40halloween is Disney/pixar and I thought I’d post Snow White for it today, since it looks like I may need to get her out of storage and cleaned up for wearing this weekend…

I wonder if I have time to shorten the bodice?? Probably not but that’s something I’ve wanted to do to this costume for yeaaars 😹 I think it’d be easier to just make a new bodice than alter this one that much !

The theme for #cosplayover40halloween today is rainbow so of course I’m gonna post a Padme lake dress 😹

I recently went back through the folder from this 2020 photoshoot and found several pics I never posted. When I get a new set of photos back from @chasingphotography I tend to just grab the ones i like best at first blush and upload those, and then sometimes I forget to ever go back and really comb through them! I’m glad I got bored enough to look through them last week and pull out a few more, I like this one.
