Don’t take a picture of me! The dying! Take a picture of the dying!
It was nice out yesterday, so I did my dying outside.
Here’s what the petals looked like BEFORE…
And right after dying, still wet.
After they were all dry today, I pinned some onto the cloak, just to get a feel for how they were looking. Here’s a non-flash picture.
And a flash picture… I like the basic colour, but the next set I dye will have some more pink in it. The pink faded more than I thought it would upon drying.
I’ve got a LOT more to make!!!
I tried out the way my hairdresser suggested doing the hairstyle – worked pretty good! I just need to remember to take some gel with me, to take care of all those flyaways. The makeup I also randomly tried out… the white is looking pretty good, but I don’t like the red I have – it’s a little too pink. And my eyes are way too dark – I had taken a Mara pic right before this and hadn’t taken the eyeliner off.
