I was tempted to post after I got home from the movie last night (this morning?). It was 3 AM and, despite the fact I’d been tired coming out of the movie, I had woken up a little more by the time we got back.
I wore my Leia costume, and yes, I ended up being the only one out of our group dressed up. I got quite a few stares in IHOP. I felt much better at the movie theater – there were a few Jedi, a Darth Maul, an Amidala, and another Leia. I took a few pictures… though it’s not on my digital camera so I probably won’t get these developed until after Animazement.
Cath wore my elf cloak, so she was SORT OF in costume. We got stopped outside and this guy interviewed us for a documentary, ha. He caught us at the end again, too.
We didn’t have much time to hang around the lobby – almost as soon as we got there (around 10:45) they started seating. A lady working there told me I couldn’t take my camera in (twice – geez, I you just told me two minutes ago. Give me time woman, I’m obviously on my way! Have to make sure I get seats saved ya know :P)
We did get our favourite seats. We spent the hour messing around with our action figures… and I swear, Cath knows every other person in the world. Every five minutes someone would come in the theater, and Cath would say, “Hey!” And they’d be like, “Hey Catherine!” Saw a guy I graduated with – he said Hey to Cath too – and I don’t think he recognized me, LOL
Well, thoughts on the movie….
I liked it. I would have liked it better if I hadn’t developed a headache halfway through. I liked it more than Phantom Menace. But, I’m still not happy with it. My main problem with the movie is that… I just don’t care about the characters that much. It just still doesn’t have that great feeling the original trilogy had.
All in all, I enjoyed it. I really loved the lightsaber fights.
Ok, I’m at my aunt’s house… I’m fixing to go home and sleep some more š
