when i talked about card captor sakura

Jules- I’ve seen the dolls, the Clow Book, the Clow staff, a talking Kero-chan and a beanie Kero-chan at Toys R Us and Wal-mart. I got my calendar from AnimeNation, my little Kero-chan and Suppi-chan from Anime Palace (which has a LOT of cool CCS stuff, but a lot of it is *expensive.*), and some of it (my sakura figurine, my clow staff) from ebay. There’s also a CardCaptors sticker book at most bookstores.

I found the coolest t-shirt the other day with Mr. T on it. It was like, a bright orange-y colour, and it had his head on it, and above it it said, “I pity da fool.” How cool is that? Unfortunately they only had it in large and XL. That ticks me off. It seems like most t-shirts (esp. anime ones), you can usually on get large and XL. You are lucky if you can find medium. I don’t like wearing big baggy t-shirts that come to my knees with sleeves to my elbows. I hate that! I need a small in t-shirts; That’s one reason I’ve always liked cafepress stuff – you can get just about any size. Meaning I can get a Kid’s Medium and have a cool shirt that actually fits.

Anyway, I got off track. I’m thinking of going ahead and buying the large shirt and cutting the sleeves off, so that while it might be long, at least I won’t have the long sleeves.

So, I didn’t end up working much on the new design today… mostly I… slept, and… uh… god, what DID I do today? Well, around 4:30 Ash came over and we hung out for a while, then around 6:30 we went to Toys R Us where I got a kid’s size Quidditch shirt for 10 bucks. I also got a Powerpuff Girls sticker out of the vending machines. Then Ash came over and got one too, but SHE got a way cool Mojo Jojo one!! No fair!!

Anyway, then we ate at IHOP, where the waiter was weird but Ash thought he was kinda cute. Better than Zombie girl, anyway. Then we went to Barnes and Noble…hung around there for a long while and I bought Glinda of Oz (my copy has been lost for ages, I finally gave up looking for it), and we got coffee.
It was nice not having to drive, I’m glad Ash has her own car now.
