I post too much.
I was settling down to eat lunch and CG a bit this afternoon when my mom popped into my room and asked, “Are you going with us?”
I said, “………”
Turns out they were going to my cousin’s play. Thanks for telling me! At first I told them, no, I had work to do. Then I felt kinda bad. My cousin was playing Templeton in Charlotte’s Web… and Charlotte’s Web was the first play *I* was in at school, and today was the last day for it. So I scarfed down the rest of my lunch and went. The play was good!
Anyway, for some reason they had a “display” in the cafeteria of all the play posters from over the years, probably going back 10 or 12 years. They also had the picture I did for the play last year (May the Farce be With You), which made me cringe. There was also a couple of photo albums – one wasn’t from a school play, but rather one they put on at the Ruffin that my parents were in. It must have been in 89 or 90 or so, ’cause there was a picture of me, Catherine and Rachel sitting on a couch on the stage looking like a bunch of idiots.
I lucked out and didn’t see anyone I knew there, outside of family members. Thank God!
